Paperback out now for Collection of Short Stories

I’ve now received the paperback for my Collection of Short Stories from my designers and I couldn’t be happier. Hope you love it as much as I do.

If you’ve read the stories, you’ll recognise this cover from a scene in the book where Te’tukhe goes looking for the witch, the healer who he hopes will help the young girl he found in the woods. Te’tukhe is one of my favorite characters in the whole of the Madeleine series, so I’m glad he made an appearance in these short stories.

New margins for paperbacks

I’m currently in the process of having all the margins redone in my paperbacks along with some editing. This is for two reasons.

One is to make the books smaller as they’re all between 400-500 plus pages which makes them expensive to buy and heavy to hold.

The second reason is to get the Madeleine series ready for the last book in the series so they all tie together. I also want to have the escape west by wagon train series ready for the Archard series. There will be three books in this new Archard series which I’ve been working on when I can, so with the two books in the escape west series, these five books will all be related in one way or another with the same characters.

If you’ve already bought my paperbacks you won’t notice any difference in the story itself, the new books will just be smaller in size with wider margins.

I think it will make the reading of the paperbacks more enjoyable being smaller, plus they won’t be so expensive. Things change rapidly in the publishing world and its a lot different to when I started publishing almost twelve years ago. I’m just happy to keep up with the changes.
