I’m sure you must all be wondering where Ruby’s book is by now, as it’s so overdue. As you know, I started rewriting the whole book back in November, just as I was getting ready to publish, because I didn’t like Ruby’s love interest.

I’ve also lost a bit of time due to Covid, as I work in a hospital on the weekends in an admin role, (gets me away from my characters for a few hours and out into the world of real people) dealing with queries from our lovely nurses and caregivers and cleaners and kitchen staff along with residents families (until we went into lockdown) but because of Covid I’ve had to put in a few more days at the hospital than I planned for. But I’m now back to reading the book through and hoping to have it out to my advanced reader group in the next week or so. It’s also around 500 pages, so it’s a big book. Anyway, just bear with me, the story is coming. (And I think Ruby’s love interest was so worth the delay.)
