And sometimes we have no control over things. So much has happened since I last wrote a post, its like my life had done a 180 but all for the best. A few more health issues, back and shoulder and wrist problems and too high blood pressure but everything is back on track thanks to doctors and the magic of medicine and a cortisone injection in my shoulder. I’m back writing a LOT of hours a day, something I haven’t been able to do for a long time and because of that, I’ve now got FOUR books in the Madeleine series. So much happens to Ryder and Madeleine in these stories I had no idea how big it was going to get when I started out on those short stories back in March 2021. Because they’re taking so much time and because the stories take place over four years, I’ve decided to release them as I finish them. I’m sure you’re happy about that as well, although be ready, they are cliffhangers so be warned. I’ll keep you up to date with release dates now I’ve made this decision. For those in KindleUnlimited I think you’ll be pleased as there’ll be close to 1600 pages for you to read, although no doubt that will be higher by the time I’ve finished.
I’ve also co-authored a book with a friend, everyone seems to be doing this these days, so I’ve done it too. It’s another wagon train story and I think you’ll love it. But more on that book later as we progress through to publishing.
I just want to apologise to all my readers. You’re still loyal to me, still buying my books, still giving me reviews and rankings even though I haven’t published anything for over three years or sent out a newsletter for over a year!! I truly can’t believe its been that long and hopefully next year I’ll make it up to you with five books coming your way, perhaps a sixth book I’m also working on, then I’ll start the Archard series which I’ve promised you.
Phew! To anyone out there suffering health problems like arthritis or heart problems or anything else, I’m thinking of you and wishing you good health. Its not easy getting older xx but like they say, better to slide kicking and dancing into old age then lying around waiting for it.
